The Spiritual Mission of the Americas:

Mexican Mysteries in the 21st Century

Taking as a premise that nothing ever really completely disappears but only undergoes metamorphosis, the question arises: What has become of the human sacrifices, practiced for two thousand years in Meso-America before the Spanish conquest in the 16th Century? C.G .Jung once claimed that the ancient Greek gods are now our diseases. Certainly what constituted the ancient Aztec heart sacrifices—metamorphosed—are similarly not limited to one country only, but act today as a kind of electrical miasma infusing the contemporary effort to mold human beings to intelligent machines. How can this be understood so as to transcend its inhuman implications for the future?
